Next, we ventured to Kindzmarauli Marani, a larger winery known for its extensive range of wines. Here, we indulged in a tour and tasting session featuring four different wines. Our driver highly recommended this spot, and it did not disappoint.
In the vicinity, you’ll find other popular wineries like Khareba Winery. I would recommend to select at least one of these bigger wine producers to complete your wine experience.

The Beauty of Nekresi Monastery
Nekresi Monastery is a must-see, offering panoramic views that are simply mesmerizing. The tranquility here is palpable, making it a perfect spot for reflection between wine tastings.
Gremi’s Archangel’s Complex
Another historical gem is Gremi’s Archangel’s complex. Its towers and ancient walls transport you back in time, offering a glimpse into Georgia’s storied past.
Exploring Telavi
Telavi, the heart of Kakheti, is a charming city worth exploring. Wander its streets, try local delicacies, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. If time allows, Tsinandali Estate is a sophisticated wine venue nearby that we plan to visit on our next trip. You can also stay night at the Tsinandali Estate.
On our way back, we also stopped at the Dzveli Shuamta Monastery.

- For maximum sightseeing, start really early and visit Sighnaghi first.

- Head to Kindzmarauli Marani for a tour and tasting session or check out Khareba Winery or other wineries around.
- Afternoon:
- Visit Nekresi Monastery and take in the views.

- Stroll around Telavi
- Evening:
- If time permits, visit Tsinandali Estate.
- Relax with a final view of the sunset over the vineyards before heading back to Tbilisi.
