Where to stay in Singapore?

Singapore offers a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury hotels to budget hostels. Visitors can choose to stay in the bustling city center or opt for a more serene location away from the hustle and bustle.

Marina Bay, Orchard Road, and Clarke Quay are popular neighborhoods to stay in Singapore. These areas are known for their central location, with easy access to attractions, shopping, and dining options.

We stayed near Clarke Quay, which was a perfect location for exploring Singapore. If you have limited time, consider staying near the main metro stations for convenience.

Where to eat in Singapore?

Singapore is known for its diverse and delicious food scene. From hawker centers to fine dining restaurants, there’s something for every palate in this city.

For a more upscale dining experience, check out the famous Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore such as Labyrinth and Odette.

Clarke Quay offers excellent dining options and a vibrant nightlife scene. If you’re looking for more budget-friendly choices, Chinatown is a great place to explore.

When should I visit Singapore?

Singapore has a tropical climate with year-round warm and humid weather. The peak season for tourists is from December to June when the weather is relatively dry. However, this also means higher prices and larger crowds.

If you’re looking to avoid the crowds, consider visiting during the off-peak months of July to November. While there may be occasional rain showers, it’s still possible to enjoy the city and its attractions.

Another factor to consider is the local holidays and festivals. Singapore celebrates Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, and Deepavali, among others. If you want to experience these festivities first-hand, make sure to plan your trip accordingly.

How long to stay in Singapore?

We suggest staying for 2-4 days. This will give you enough time to explore the different neighborhoods, try out various food options, and visit popular attractions such as Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island.

However, if you have more time, there are plenty of day trips and excursions that you can take from Singapore.

How to get to Singapore?

Singapore is easily accessible by air, with Changi Airport being one of the busiest airports in the world. It offers direct flights to and from major cities worldwide.

If you’re travelling from neighbouring countries such as Malaysia or Thailand, you can also take a bus or train to Singapore. The city-state has an extensive network of public transportation, making it easy to get around once you’re there.
